If I need a dental procedure but don't have the cash to cover it, are financing options available?

If you need a dental procedure and don't currently have the cash available to cover that, or to cover your portion, we do have certain financing options available, specifically through a company called Care Credit. We are partners with Care Credit and they offer us a variety of low to no interest loans to the patients. You apply, you get pre-approved, they pay us, and then you pay them back over any period of time you want.

Will I have to pay for my dental procedure up front?

If you have a dental procedure, yes, you will need to pay for that dental procedure up front. If you pre-pay it, you actually get a discount here at Riverside Center for Esthetic Dentistry, and that's the route that most of our patients end up choosing.

What dental financing options are available from here, and how do they work?

We've kind of already answered that with Care Credit. If we're not going to be offering the quality care, then it's just the Care Credit.

Does all dental financing require a credit check?

Our most common question is, does this dental financing option require a credit check? The simple answer is yes. However, the partners that we use, Care Credit, it is a soft credit check, so it will not impact your credit score. But yes, you will require a credit check.

Does dental insurance typically cover the cost of most dental procedures?

Patients sometimes ask us if their dental insurance covers the cost of most common dental procedures. The answer is, it depends. There are a plethora of insurance plans out there, and our patients have them all. It really depends on your insurance, and even if you have insurance. But most of the time, yes, the insurances are actually pretty good, and chances are that your insurance works amazing here at our office. Except for Med-Cal.

How can I find out if my insurance will cover the cost of my dental procedure?

Here at Riverside Center for Esthetic Dentistry, our front office staff finds out for the patients if your insurance will cover the cost of the diagnosed treatment. So you don't have to worry about it.

If my insurance will only partially cover the cost of my dental procedures, can financing options help me pay for the rest?

It is very common for patients' dental insurance to not cover the whole amount of their diagnosed dental treatments. When this happens, there are financing options available here at Riverside Center for Esthetic Dentistry to help cover your copay costs. This is mainly Care Credit. They are our credit partners and they offer low to no interest options to help pay for your copay.

Patients often ask us, where can they get started with the various types of dental financing? Well, here, just like when we check your insurance for you, we can also actually help you get started with finding and seeing if you're approved for the various dental financing options out there. Our favorite is Care Credit. It's a soft credit check. It's a credit check that it's a soft credit check and it is very, very, very easy and quick to find out what you are pre-approved for.

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
